Role Description The Account Manager is a full-time, hybrid role based in Bel Air, MD, with some work-from-home flexibility. This role is responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of small to medium-sized business telecom accounts, serving as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries, service changes, and support needs. Day-to-day tasks include building strong client relationships, understanding customer requirements, preparing and presenting service proposals, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure smooth delivery and maintenance of services. The Account Manager will monitor account performance, identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities, and address issues promptly to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction. The role also involves maintaining accurate account records, participating in meetings and reporting on account activity, and contributing to continuous improvement of processes and customer experience.

Qualifications

• Exceptional organizational and time management skills, including managing multiple accounts, tracking activities, and maintaining accurate documentation.

• Demonstrated skills in account management and customer relationship building, including the ability to serve as a trusted advisor to business clients.

• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts in clear, accessible language.
\n
• Comfort working in a hybrid environment, collaborating effectively both in person in Bel Air, MD and remotely with customers and internal teams.
\n
• Proficiency with CRM systems and common office productivity tools (e.g., email, spreadsheets, presentations) to manage accounts and report on performance.

• Prior experience in telecom, IT services, or another technology-focused industry is beneficial.
\n
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent relevant work experience.

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary: $50,000 – $60,000 per year, depending on experience
\n
• Bonus: Eligible for bonus plans after the first 12 months of employment
