We are recruiting a Financial Analyst to join a growing finance team in Raleigh and partner with commercial and operational leaders. This role is focused on understanding what drives performance, evaluating margins and profitability, and turning financial data into recommendations that support better business decisions. The position offers visibility with leadership and the opportunity to take on broader responsibility as the organization grows.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze customer, product, pricing, and cost trends to identify drivers of margin and profitability.
\n
• Partner with sales and business leaders to provide financial insight and support commercial decision-making.
\n
• Translate financial and operational data into clear insights and actionable business recommendations.
\n
• Evaluate pricing, discounting, customer mix, product mix, and cost changes to understand their impact on profitability.
\n
• Identify performance trends, business risks, and opportunities that warrant management attention.
\n
• Develop financial models and scenario analyses to support revenue, cost, pricing, and profitability decisions.
\n
• Review actual results against forecasts and budgets and investigate meaningful variances.
\n
• Support forecasting, budgeting, and financial planning across the business.
\n
• Perform ad hoc analysis and communicate findings to finance, sales, and leadership teams.

Requirements

\n

\n
• Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of experience in finance, accounting, audit, financial analysis, or a related analytical role.
\n
• Strong Excel and financial modeling skills with the ability to analyze data and identify meaningful business trends.
\n
• This role requires regular in-person collaboration, so candidates should currently live within reasonable commuting distance of the Raleigh area and be able to work onsite as required.

With that said, as required by local law, Vaco by Highspring believes that the following salary range referenced above reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure.
