NOW HIRING | LEGAL BILLING SPECIALIST ? Houston, TX | Full-Time | 100% In-Office

I'm working with a growing law firm looking to add an experienced Legal Billing Specialist to their team! This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment, can manage a high volume of billing, and knows how to keep things moving while maintaining accuracy.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Manage full-cycle legal billing, including preparing, reviewing, and processing client invoices.
• Review attorney time entries, expenses, billing rates, and pre-bills.
• Handle electronic billing through LEDES and e-billing platforms.
• Track invoice submissions, rejections, corrections, and approvals.
• Ensure compliance with client billing guidelines.
• Work closely with attorneys, paralegals, and clients to resolve billing issues.
• Assist with accounts receivable, outstanding invoices, and collections follow-up.
• Prepare billing reports and maintain accurate records.

What We're Looking For:

• 2+ years of legal billing or related accounting experience.
• Law firm billing experience strongly preferred.
• Experience with LEDES formatting and electronic billing portals.
• ProLaw and QuickBooks experience is a plus!
• Strong Excel skills and excellent attention to detail.
• Someone who is organized, proactive, and comfortable juggling multiple deadlines.
