We are looking for a Legal Billing Specialist to join a services organization hybrid in Seattle, Washington on a Contract basis with the potential for a permanent role. This role focuses on managing the full billing process for assigned matters while partnering closely with attorneys, clients, and internal teams to ensure accurate, timely invoicing. The ideal candidate brings strong attention to detail, sound judgment when handling sensitive information, and the ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Responsibilities:• Manage the complete billing cycle for assigned accounts, including preparing draft invoices, making revisions, finalizing charges, and submitting completed bills in line with client-specific requirements.• Act as a primary billing contact for attorneys and clients by addressing invoice questions, resolving discrepancies, and supporting positive ongoing relationships.• Coordinate effectively with legal professionals, clients, and administrative staff to carry out billing instructions accurately and on schedule.• Contribute to accounting team initiatives by identifying ways to strengthen billing workflows and partnering with other departments to improve efficiency.• Support electronic billing administration by helping maintain compliance with client expectations related to submissions, accrual reporting, budgets, and related documentation.• Maintain accurate billing records and ensure all invoice activity is processed with a high level of precision and confidentiality.• Assist with additional accounting-related assignments and special projects as business needs evolve.
