Job Description

Actively seeking a Legal Billing Senior Specialist for a HYBRID and Full-Time Position within a Law Firm . The right candidate will have experience in legal billing, experience with Aderant or 3E billing systems, as well as proficiency in Excel and Word.

Location: Role can be located in New York or Washington, DC.

HOURS: Monday – Friday, 9:30 AM – 5:30 PM EST

SCHEDULE | LOCATION: HYBRID | Manhattan, NY

PAY: $85 - $115K (Commensurate w/Experience) + Discretionary Bonus

IDEAL CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s Degree REQUIRED
• 2-5+ Years of Experience in Legal Billing within a Law Firm
• Strong MS Office Suite Experience, including Excel
• Strong Verbal and Written Communication Skills to be able to make presentations and put together analytical reports
• Experience with Aderant or Elite 3E Billing Systems

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintain firm master files in client and third-party vendor systems
• Submit and coordinate client invoices to clients
• Experience working directly with assigned partners
• Regularly monitor the statuses of invoices
• Work with the team to correct and resubmit invoices to clients
• Analyze and submit timekeepers and rates for client approval
• Assist with the review of client billing guidelines
